I'm reminded this morning of the value of paying for a service. I have a hobby (astronomy) that I like to work with a local group on and when it came time to do their site I wanted to do it as a simple blog so I used the most obvious choice to create it (blogger.com).
This morning I was wanting to add something and got reminded of the value of paying. You actually get to expect things to work. We all like free stuff. We all want something for nothing, but the truth is... if you don't pay, then the provider has no liability to you if they drop the ball. If you paid, then at least the expectation was there and you have some legs to stand on (legally).

Not only was Blogger unavailable, but they'd made the choice to remove posts from the last 2 days to get things fixed. That's a pretty big deal if you'd made a bunch of contributions to your content and then had it disappear... :(
The lesson is this... Free stuff is unfortunately worth what you pay for it (sometimes).
At Inhouse, we typically don't work for free. That being said we don't think it's ok for a customer to have things broken or interruptions of service. We work very hard to keep that sort of thing from happening and our customers appreciate it.
If you'd like to be treated like you have value and don't mind paying for the service you get, please
contact Inhouse and see what it's like to get what you paid for.
