Communities in Schools, the nation’s leading organization dedicated to empowering students to stay in school and achieve in life, has a new website for the East Texas region.

The local CIS program annually serves more than 5,000 students and their families within the Jefferson, Marshall, Mineola, New Diana, Ore City, and Pine Tree Independent School Districts. In the Deep East Texas area, the program annually serves more than 4,000 students and their families within the Conroe and Lufkin Independent School Districts. The Communities in Schools national organization is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
